Things in the market have reached a point where people who had no intention of selling their family home are doing just that. Everyday it seems I hear of another couple who intended to grow old in the home they raised their kiddies in, but things have changed. Changed big time.

A great deal of these folks have large homes, and will have toyed with the idea of renting it out seasonally, or turning it into a bed and breakfast.  Upon first blush, either has its good sides, but mainly they fall short for one reason or another. Things like conversions, inconvenience, and not enough income being generated bring these possibilities to a close. These times call for tough decisions, and by working in this industry I know it all too well. And when I am asked for an opinion on what the future holds, all I can do is shake my head, because what I believe awaits is definitely not what those individuals want, or need to hear.
